Solicitor report: nothing

Public comment: Bill Rigby spoke about the lights at Quonset hut, has them put up. He also questioned about the excess fuel tank that has a hole in it and the other not used. Clark Baird motioned to keep one tank and use as spare and scrap the tank with hole in it. All agreed to keep the good one. Bill stated he got his certificate for Dirt and Gravel Program and has started the grant for roads. Bill also put together a monthly schedule for a Boro Worker. Bring back up in January to new council.
Bill also thanked Amy and Mark for their service.

Timbering update, Ron. He spoke to Larry Powell today and has a tentative date in mid January to look at timber and also trees in park to see which ones needed to come down for safety reasons. He also said he is requesting in new contract that for every tree being cut down they need to replant 2.

Fire dept request on insurance. FWF says our portion of insurance is $1201 and fire dept is $2171. If we take their vehicles off the policy we lose our fleet coverage and it will cost the Borough an additional $1284.00 per year for non fleet prices. Council has agreed not to take their vehicles off the policy. Jeffery suggested we send them a letter and suggest to them they would get only $887.00 which is the difference of the $1284.00 difference of their cost.
Clark motioned to send letter and counter offer, Amy 2nd. All approved.

Nothing on garage ligation at this time.

New Business:

Need to advertise for sewage board position (Ron term is up and he not running again.)

Letters: Ad for paving training class in Somerset in January. Bill to go.

Any other regular business? Clark asked about the police. He wanted to know what was going on with them. Pat said that schedule is between the two Mayors.

Sue wants to know why New Florence police is on one end of town and Bolivar police on other end of town. Can New Florence police do this? Jeffery stated we have a contract with them so it doesn't matter which car pulls someone over, they both are legal to do this.

No other new business.

Sewage report: nothing
Mayor report: nothing
Street Commissioner Report: Mark said cost of new spreader is $771.00 to fix. This is already on order. Awaiting the parts to come in. Also a new filter for auger. Seals are leaking pretty badly. Amy motioned to pay the $771.00 for salt spreader, Clark 2nd. All approved.
